This painting is inspired by a photo I found on Facebook of Saskia, my yoga teacher in the Netherlands. I love her calm and confident look, such soft eyes. In Italy I had colored plastic fly curtains in front of the garden door at the time, that is how I came up with the idea for this background in Pop-art style!
