In the series ‘Inspiring Icons’ a painting of Deborah Harry of the eightees band Blondie. She was extremely popular with her punk and new wave band. She had this energy of sexy and indifferent rebellion which is visible in her posture and facial expression in this portrait of her.

There is a lot of mark making with markers and spraypaint, stencilling, collage, crayons, pencils, pens and last but not least multiple layers of oil paint.
